What are fitting tools? A simple question with no answer on the Internet – it’s full of people selling fitting tools, each one eulogizing their tools, but no one explaining what they are!
So, I have embarked upon this task of solving this riddle and enlighten myself as well as any other looking for this answer.
Well everyone knows what “fitting” is and what “tools” are, so this is a no-brainer (ideim fitting ra baaboi). Fitting tools are simple tools like files, chisels, calipers, steel-rulers and the like that are used to modify components to fit properly with each other when assembling or re-assembling any product.
With so much advancement in technology, product components are usually produced by automated processes with high precision and speed, but there are occasions when you can’t avoid the work-bench to literally grind it in.
